In today’s workplace environment, office design requires highly adaptable solutions that place people’s well-being at the center. Our office partition walls respond perfectly to this need, organizing spaces to create comfortable and functional working environments. At IOC project partners, we do not see interior architecture as a rigid structure, but as a fluid ecosystem capable of adapting to evolving operational dynamics. We design configurable solutions through continuous listening, transforming client requirements into high-performance elements.
A human-centered approach to modern workspaces
We often talk about human-centered design, but for us this concept translates into concrete daily actions. Every project begins with a fundamental phase: listening and dialogue. We firmly believe that efficient workplace solutions cannot be created without fully understanding the working routines and genuine needs of the people who use them.
This dialogue involves every level of the company, not just the technical office and design team. Listening to individuals forms the foundation of our creative process, even before the first lines are drawn or proposals are presented.

From active listening to technical expertise
Our technical expertise comes into play at a later stage, transforming the insights gathered into structured and highly functional products. We manage the entire production cycle within our two manufacturing facilities in Brianza, specializing in furniture and partition wall production.
Every stage is carefully monitored, from raw materials to the finished product, using state-of-the-art machinery. This allows us to guarantee impeccable quality and finishes, while employing environmentally friendly coatings in controlled production environments. The unique combination of empathy and industrial precision enables us to configure workplace layouts that enhance both productivity and employee well-being within today’s working environments.
Pods and innovative office partition walls: a case study
A practical example of this working method can be found in the recent development of our pods. The project originated from a specific client request involving the configuration of a large corporate open space. The objective was to introduce independent structures for quick meetings and focused work while maintaining complete aesthetic consistency with the partition wall system already used throughout the office areas of the building.
A unique configuration for versatile spaces
What initially appeared to be a design challenge became an opportunity to develop a distinctive configuration that we can now offer to our clients. Our technical department did not need to create new profiles or components: the system was designed from the outset to be flexible, and adaptability is part of its DNA.
The process simply involved exploring new application possibilities and implementing targeted technical solutions that allow our office partition walls to be configured as freestanding pods.

Ultralight as a design tool
At the center of this configuration is Ultralight, our iconic glass partition wall collection. This system represents the benchmark of our brand in terms of elegance and structural minimalism.
By leveraging the versatility of the system framework, we can ensure visual and architectural continuity throughout the workplace wherever the product is installed. Rather than simply dividing spaces, Ultralight, and the broader system behind it, is designed to connect people and support relational well-being.
We have moved beyond the concept of a simple physical barrier to embrace a more fluid understanding of space. In this way, our office partition walls become genuine human-centered design tools, capable of evolving with workplace needs to create environments where individuals always feel comfortable and supported by solutions that genuinely reflect their operational requirements.
Exploring the future of workplace design at IOC studio
These concepts extend far beyond our catalogues. Today, it is possible to experience the quality of our solutions firsthand by visiting IOC Studio, our new showroom designed by the Milan-based architecture and design practice Migliore+Servetto.
The showroom has been carefully conceived to showcase our commitment to conscious, flexible manufacturing. Visitors can explore technical details up close and gain a deeper understanding of the design philosophy that guides every product in our collection.
We invite architects, designers, and workplace professionals to experience this space in person and collaborate with us in shaping the future of work environments, always maintaining our core principle: placing people at the center of every design decision.
